چکیده
This article aims to explore the oscillatory characteristics of a controlled asymmetric rotor system when subjected rub and impact forces between stator. Four electromagnetic poles are used control whirling motion through linear proportional-derivative law. The equations that govern whole dynamics derived including forces. mathematical model is analyzed in two basic steps. Firstly, obtained treated as weakly nonlinear using perturbation analysis obtain slow-flow modulating neglecting Depending on equations, different response curves plotted system’s periodic vibrations determine conditions at which can exhibit force. Secondly, investigated by bifurcation diagrams, Poincare map, frequency spectrums, temporal oscillations. results revealed applied law could mitigate oscillations prevent if gains tuned properly. Chaotic and quasiperiodic Motions of Three Planar charged Particles
We study two dynamical systems for the motion of three planar charged particles with charges nj ∈ {±1}, j = 1, 2, 3. Both dynamical systems are parametric with a parameter α ∈ [0, 1] and have the same nonlinear terms. As α = 0, 1, the dynamical systems have no chaos. However, one dynamical system may create chaos as α varies from zero to one. This may provide an example to show that the homotop...

Oscillator models for the control of the cell division cycle date back to 1970 when Sel'kov suggested a thiol/disulphide cycle and Gilbert proposed a specific protein phosphorylation-dephosphorylation cycle as state controlling variables; cell division requires attainment of a critical threshold. We have used the Chernavskii et al. (1977) model (relaxation oscillator) and modulated its output u...
متن کاملDynamic Analysis of a Hybrid Squeeze Film Damper Mounted Rub-Impact Rotor-Stator System
An investigation is carried out on the systematic analysis of the dynamic behavior of the hybrid squeeze-film damper HSFD mounted a rotor-bearing system with strongly nonlinear oil-film force and nonlinear rub-impact force in the present study. The dynamic orbits of the system are observed using bifurcation diagrams plotted using the dimensionless rotating speed ratio as control parameters. The...
متن کاملDynamic Response of a Rotor-air Bearing System Due to Base Induced Periodic Motions
Oil-free microturbomachinery (MTM) are inevitably subjected to base or foundation excitations: passenger and commercial transportation vehicles experiencing intermittent excitation from road conditions, and (multiple) periodic load excitations from internal combustion (IC) engines in turbochargers, for example. Too large base excitations can produce severe damage, even failure, due to hard coll...
متن کاملNonlinear Coupled Dynamics of a Rod Fastening Rotor under Rub-Impact and Initial Permanent Deflection
A nonlinear coupled dynamic model of a rod fastening rotor under rub-impact and initial permanent deflection was developed in this paper. The governing motion equation was derived by the D’Alembert principle considering the contact characteristic between disks, nonlinear oil-film force, rub-impact force, unbalance mass, etc. The contact effects between disks was modeled as a flexural spring wit...
